Dimitrios Gounaridis received his degree from the Physics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) in 2021. His bachelor thesis was carried out at the Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL), concerning interferometric hybridly integrated sensor for real time water composition monitoring. Since then, he continues as a member of the PCRL pursuing his research towards his PhD. His research interests include photonic sensors and optical communications.
