The Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL) participated once again in Researchers’ Night 2026, held at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) on Friday, 25 September 2026.
The event took place at the Zografou Campus, bringing together the research community and the public for an evening dedicated to science, research and innovation.
This year’s Researchers’ Night featured 184 research teams and organisations, including research groups and spin-offs from the nine Schools of NTUA, teams from other Greek universities, research centres, schools, companies and other organisations.
At the PCRL stand, visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the Laboratory’s research activities in the field of photonics and optical communications, meet members of the research team and discover how cutting-edge technologies are being developed through national and European research projects.
Researchers’ Night offers a unique opportunity to bring scientific research closer to society, encouraging direct interaction between researchers, students, families and visitors of all ages.
PCRL was delighted to be part of this year’s event and to share its work with everyone who visited our stand.
Thank you to everyone who joined us at Researchers’ Night 2026!
