The PLEIADES Plenary Meeting took place on 3–4 November 2025 at the NTUA premises, gathering all project partners for two days of focused discussions, technical alignment, and strategic planning. As the host, PCRL welcomed the consortium to Athens and coordinated a highly productive meeting that reviewed progress across all work packages and set the direction for the next phase of the project. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for partners to exchange expertise, refine timelines, and strengthen coordination across all scientific and engineering teams.

To conclude the event, the consortium joined for a group dinner in Athens, offering an excellent opportunity for informal discussions, networking, and team bonding in a relaxed atmosphere—further reinforcing the strong collaborative spirit of the project.

PCRL’s Role in PLEIADES

Alongside hosting the plenary meeting, PCRL plays a central role in Work Package 6, contributing to the design, integration, and testing of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and packaged photonic sensors. Our team leads the development of advanced photonic sensing components, their embedding into composite structures, and their evaluation in laboratory and demonstration environments.

The successful plenary meeting at NTUA showcased the commitment of PCRL to advancing the PLEIADES objectives and supporting a strong, coordinated consortium effort.
