The Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL) of ICCS/NTUA, as coordinator of the Horizon Europe POLYNICES project, successfully hosted the 2nd Periodic Review Meeting online.
The meeting brought together all project partners and the European Commission reviewers to assess the progress made during the second reporting period. The consortium presented significant technical achievements, including advances in photonic integration, packaging strategies, and system-level demonstrations. Beyond the scientific and technical updates, discussions also focused on dissemination and communication activities, exploitation plans, and the roadmap towards the next milestones.
As coordinator, PCRL had the privilege of guiding the review process and highlighting the collaborative efforts that have driven POLYNICES forward. We are proud of the excellent teamwork demonstrated across the consortium and grateful for the constructive feedback provided by the reviewers.
This successful review strengthens our commitment to advancing the project’s ambitious objectives and to delivering impactful results for the European photonics community.
