Giorgos Syriopoulos received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 2021, after completing his thesis concerning the design of a temperature sensor based on a silicon integration platform, which was carried out in the Photonics Communications Research Laboratory. Since then, he is pursuing his PhD, and his main research interests include modelling and designing sensors based on silicon photonic platforms, for use in environmental sensing and industrial processes.
