Short Bio
Panagiotis Kourelias received his bachelor’s degree in Physics from University of Patras (Greece) in 2019 and completed his thesis regarding the nonlinear optical response of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons PAHs dopped with oxygen atoms-O-dopped nanoribbons. Subsequently, he obtained his M.Sc. degree in «Materials Physics and Technology – Photonics» from the University of Patras (Greece) in 2022. His M.Sc. thesis was, also, carried out at the Non-Linear Optics and Laser Applications Laboratory (NLOLA) focusing on the application of L.I.B.S (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) in various solids, liquids and gases and data analysis by implementing Machine Learning algorithms on spectroscopic datasets. He is a member of Photonics Communication Research Laboratory (PCRL) since April 2024.
