Short Bio
Dr. Thenia Prousalidi graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2020. Her Diploma thesis, carried out at CERN, concerned the study of the CERN Feast DC-DC converter problem. In 2024, she obtained her PhD from the Photonics Communication Research Laboratory (PCRL) of NTUA in collaboration with CERN EP-ESE-BE department. Her thesis focused on the system development of Silicon Photonics transceivers for future upgrades of high energy physics experiments at CERN. She now works as a post-doctoral researcher at PCRL where she has been actively involved in several collaborative EU projects (SEER, PARALIA). Her current research interests are focused on the system development of radiation tolerant optical links, and the design and experimental testing of photonic integrated circuits and components for datacom, sensing and LiDAR applications. Dr. Thenia Prousalidi is the author or co-author of more than 18 publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations in the most prestigious integrated optics and high energy physics conferences.
