George Brestas received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2020. His thesis, which was carried out at the Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL), focused on design and implementation of analog waveforms on programmable platforms for 5G optical networks. Since then, he is a member of the Photonics Communications Research Laboratory. His research activities include Optical System Design, Implementation of ML Enhanced Signal Processing Blocks on Programmable Platforms for High Capacity Optical Networks.
