Poly Vlasi joined PCRL in 2011. She is the personal assistant to Prof Avramopoulos, who heads PCRL. She is also Ηead of Αdministration, orchestrating consortium meetings, planning events, and managing PCRL’s website and social media accounts. She is the driving force behind annual activities like International Day of Light, Day of Photonics, and Researcher’s Night. She also organises school visits at PCRL and manages the maintenance of PCRL. 

Poly holds a BA in Economics (2000), an MSc in Marketing Management (2001) from Aston University, UK and a diploma in Digital and Social Media Marketing (2022). She is fluent in English and French.
